You are cordially invited to A Royal Tea with Cinderella! Join Cinderella, the Prince, Fairy Godmother, and more for an afternoon of activities, songs, and treats. The event will take place on Saturday, March 11th from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at Metamora Township High School (Commons/Cafeteria) 101 W. Metamora Township High School proudly presents their Spring Musical, Rodgers and Hammerstein’s Cinderella, to be performed in the Kenneth H. Maurer Auditorium from March 16-19, 2023, with performances starting at 7 PM on the 16-18, and 2 PM on 19th. Tickets are on sale now and are available through the online MTHS Box Office. Tickets are $10 for adults, $5 for senior citizens 65 & older, $5 for students 8th grade & younger, and all MTHS Students with a school ID are free. Rodgers and Hammerstein’s Cinderella (Enchanted Edition) is based upon ABC’s 1997 remake of Rodgers and Hammerstein’s Cinderella, starring Whitney Houston and Brandy. Cinderella, a young and kind woman, is forced into servitude after her father dies and dreams of a better life. The show includes some of Rodgers and Hammerstein’s most beloved songs, including “In My Own Little Corner,” “Impossible,” “Ten Minutes Ago,” “Do I Love You Because You’re Beautiful?,” and more. With dazzling special effects, beautiful costumes, and more, the production is perfect for the entire family.
