Educators Rising club members got to hear about first-year teaching from MTHS's very own (and fantastic!) chemistry teacher Audrey Stoewer.
Honors Anatomy and Physiology students enjoyed their time at the ICC Healthcare Career Expo. Students visited the ICC North Campus, which has state-of-the-art facilities for Healthcare Career preparation.
Congratulations to Madie Sheets, who will continue her academic and athletic career next year. Madie will play lacrosse at Cornell College, located in Mount Vernon, IA. Good luck Madie, keep soaring!

Child Care Services preschool students participated in Disney dress up day! It was a fun theme day for everyone.
After learning about the color wheel and the effects color have on emotions, Introduction to FCS got to create an edible color wheel. After all of their hard work they got to eat the rainbow.

MTHS Robotics winning the St Louis Regional competition and qualifying for Worlds! Back to back World qualifier! Amazing performance by the team all weekend long!!
Today we will be welcoming back the champs! The Boys' Basketball Team will arrive at Spring Bay Community Bank at 12:40 PM. The team will then depart Spring Bay headed down 26 to Santa Fe to Woodland Knolls Rd. The team will enter Jubilee Crossing and head to 116 into Metamora. Once in Metamora, the team will enter the square by the Metamora Police Station and travel around the square toward St. Mary's School. The team will enter the student parking lot at MTHS and go to the Toepke Gym around 1:00 PM for our community celebration. Please feel free to join the parade of cars following the team or to greet them as they arrive at MTHS. Go Redbirds!

With our unfortunate water damage to the Toepke Gym over Christmas, we have a unique opportunity to capture a piece of history. The entire gym floor will be replaced this spring, and parts of the floor can be reclaimed for future use. If you want a part of this history, please reserve your floor section by clicking the link below. This will be on a first-come basis.

The MTHS Boys' Basketball Team will be heading to state tonight at 5:00 PM and will be escorted out of town by the Metamora Police Department. If you want to join in the send-off, they will leave at 5:00 PM from the student parking lot by Toepke Gym. Go Birds!
