Thank you to CAT and the Edwards facility demonstration put on by SKILLSUSA. Local construction unions and other trade partners had stations set up for a hands-on type field trip for our students.
Students are learning about natural resources & had the opportunity to participate in the We Share Solar program. Students learned how to build a working solar suitcase that includes a solar panel. The suitcase will be sent to a refugee camp in Africa. The suitcase will provide electricity for the school both inside and outside of the building. Allowing students to study, charge electronics, and for nighttime safety.
