Attention MTHS students: The Illinois Prairie District Public Library is hosting an evening with author James McBride this Tuesday, February 4th. Many students in our building have read his amazing memoir, The Color of Water. Students, please join us in the MTHS Library on Tuesday from 7-8 PM for an evening with Mr. McBride!

Congratulations to Matthew Zobrist for reaching the milestone of 1,000 career points for the Redbird basketball team. Matthew hit the game-winner against state-ranked Evanston on Saturday. The Birds are back in action for a big test against Morton this evening. Go Birds!

Congrats to the varsity scholastic bowl team for winning the Mid Illini tournament defeating Dunlap in the championship match.

The ASVAB will be offered to MTHS students on Wed, Feb. 5th starting at 8:15AM.
The ASVAB is a comprehensive, multi-aptitude test designed to assess an individual's abilities and help them identify potential career paths. While the primary purpose of the ASVAB is to assist the military in determining eligibility for enlistment and occupational specialties, the test is also a valuable tool for students exploring various career options.
Students who wish to test should talk to their counselor ASAP in order to sign up.
