I grew up on a small farm outside of Metamora. Our family raised pigs, cows, and chickens. We also grew a variety of crops such as corn, soybeans, oats, wheat, and alfalfa. After graduating from Metamora High School in 1994, I attended Illinois Central College in the Agriculture Transfer Program. I recieved an Associate’s Degree in Applied Sciences from ICC in 1996. Then I attended Illinois State University in the Agriculuture Education Program.
